Came to Chi. For business trip. Been wanting some home style Filipino food. I googled a place and this one came up. β2 min walkβ Nice!!! I walked in the market instantly could smell Asian food lol I put my order in with βImanβ and I flooded her with questions. Being Filipino we know quality non Americanized Filipino food. My food came out I got Lumpia, adobo, and spam egg musubi. Musubi was FIRE! π₯ Hard to fail on that one! lol Adobo, I give 6.5 out of 10 and thatβs only because it was chicken breast and not thighs. THE BROTH OF THE ADOBO WAS DELICIOUS π€€ Now the lumpia tastes excactly how my grandma and mom make it 10/10. But to make the whole experience worth mentioning is not just the authentic Filipino food. It was also βIMANβSβ beautifull smiling face and amazing personality. Thank you all sincerely Oscar With J3Remodeling. #Racine,Wi

The pork adobo is delicious and melts off your fork. The pork did have a decent amount of fat/gristle. The pork goes great with the atchara. The lumpia are good but pretty greasy, as to be expected. The ube cannoli was delicious. Great and fast service. Yum!

Panlasa was sooo good. Everything tasted super fresh and flavorful. We got the musubis, lumpia, sticky wings, atchara, ube cannolis, adobo, kalua pork, and the Huli Huli BBQ chicken and honestly everything hit. The Huli Huli chicken was definitely my favorite, super juicy! The adobo and kalua pork was really rich and comforting, with a little bit of smokiness into it. The ube cannolis were such a good sweet treat too kinda crispy, creamy, and not overly sweet at all. Also got to talk to the owner for a bit about their events and he was genuinely so nice and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot Iβd come back to!

Lunch at Panlasa was savory and delicious, especially on a cold Chicago day. I love the amalgamation of Filipino + Hawaiian cuisines into a nice friendly menu. I had a savory Pork Adobo bowl, with a side of Filipino Alchara (cole slaw), and Hawian Mac-salad and it was delicious. I had a nice conversation with the owner who proudly told me about their 1.5 years at the French Market (his location), successes at catering events and their plans to hopefully expand. He also told me about some of the home-made spicy vinegars (see photo) for hot-sauce lovers like me :)

We've been in Chicago for a few days and this was surprisingly the best meal we have had so far! Really tasty Hawaiian and Filipino food, the meat was soft and tender. It was very authentic and so delicious that we were really surprised to find this quality of food in a food market!
